Emma Burnett lives and works from the delightful 17th Century BRADNESS GALLERY in Spithurst Road, Barcombe, East Sussex, BN8 5EB.   Telephone: 01 273 400606.  She is a Sussex based artist who works in a wide variety of different media but what is always evident in her work is her confident use of colour. ‘Colour and energy are definitely my inspiration,’ she says. ‘That’s what motivates me – the wish to achieve an original, but balanced, colour combination.  I like my work to feel vibrant and uplifting.  People respond instinctively to colour - it has its own vitality.’

According to ancient Tibetan teachings, colours reflect our prana; our vital life force. ‘The subtle manifestation of this can bring a sense of peace and joy and awaken awareness and wisdom.’
